More a two star bed and breakfast than a hotel. Very overpriced for the quality and service.||Upon arrival we were allocated a very dark and dated family room. Requesting to change we were offered two others which were brighter but not great. Rooms sparse, in need of maintenance (lino in bathroom floor coming away, shower tray sagged when stepped on) and dirty (previous occupants empty beer bottle behind door, floor and under bed not cleaned). Bathroom clearly had a ventilation issue leading to mouldy windows and a horrible smell if the window wasn’t open at all times. ||Sadly the room wasn’t an environment we felt we could relax in and we couldn’t wait to leave. ||Hotel setting was peaceful. Restaurant was ok but nothing particularly special. Staff provided functional service but didn’t make any effort to engage with customers. ||One of the main roads to the hotel is currently shut. Would have been helpful if the hotel could have warned us about this when we contacted them prior to arrival. ||Overall a very disappointing stay in a hotel best avoided.

This is a beautiful place surrounded by hills and forests. The room was large and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was beyond praise. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend it!

Cleaning of the rooms is very bad. The first room wasn't cleaned at all. Towels in the bathroom were still on the floor, and there were no clean sheets on the bed. ||So we got a new room. It looked better, but the floor was very dirty and there was no toilet paper. After complaining again, the room would be extra cleaned the next day. The floor was still very dirty.

Beautiful experience, we are so delightful to be here. One of the special things to look forward is the quiet and peaceful place plus it's majestic view of the place.

We also love how we were welcomed by the owner and treated us so well. Better bring a car with you so you can fully visit the area. The room is huge it makes me think of a space of a whole apartment in the city in my country.

Enjoy the early breakfast with an exotic decoration of the restaurants hall. You'll surely love it here if you're looking for a place to unwind.

Absolutely loved staying here! We accidently booked the day after we were supposed to stay (that's what happens when you look for hotels last minute around midnight), and they were able to accommodate us regardless. Everyone was very helpful and kind. They had someone that spoke English well in the evening and in the morning, so we were able to communicate. Dinner was so so good, and breakfast was delicious as well. The surrounding area is peaceful and lovely. I'd love to come back for a longer stay next time I'm in Germany. Thank you all!!

Oh, and my friend accidently left his wallet in the room. We had to rush back for it, and they had it waiting in the office for us. Such a kind place. 🥰

We spent one night at Hotel Huettenmuehle and must say it was thoroughly relaxing. ||Setting: Quiet and picturesque. ||Room: The family apartment was roomy and cool despite the warm temperatures. Kitchen was basic but well appointed. Bedroom and bath nice. Beds could have been slightly more comfortable. Bath was nice. Good towels and amenities. ||Restaurant: Very good and super fresh food. The beer garden setting is fantastic overlooking a series of mill ponds. Breakfast ranks among better hotel breakfasts. ||This is a great place for hiking or pottery shopping base camp.

hotel is located in a forest but just a few minutes away from Koblenz. Rooms are very spacious and the owners are very nice people! Breakfast is incredible, very extensive buffet. Restaurant at night is also very good but the menu is limited. Loved the schnitzel! Wifi is also very good in the hotel.
