This is a review for “Princess for one day” event in Frankfurt on April 15, 2023. The marketing and pre sales for the event did sound so great - the only purpose of this is to make you look good and happy with the way you look. Not the make up artist, nobody else but only you as a participant so that you feel comfortable and self confident in front of the camera. What can I say… unfortunately, they didn’t live up to their own promises. This event was a major disappointment, was supposed to be my 40th birthday gift. 180 euros down the drain. Make up was just horrible, “spoiled my natural beauty” according to my husband. Make up artist used mostly cheap DM products which I didn’t use at home and tried to convince me that it will look good on the foto. Even though I said at least 5-6 times that I was neither convinced nor happy with it. Specifically with the shade of the eye shadows, brown instead of grey / anthracite. But the make up artist liked it herself and kept praising. then second make up artist tried to do it “better”, without removing first make up rather than putting even more of brown lid shade instead of grey which I wanted. Well…
Then the photographer, Guido, didn’t really care much wether I look good and wether I am happy with the foto. We had to redo, second one came out little better after I myself knew to what extent to smile, how to stand etc. Which ideally is photographer’s job to find that little “sunny side” of each face and capture that micro mimic. This event came across as a pure money making thing. Now if you think that’s my only personal problem - thats not the case. Another lady who came out with me also said that she would have done make up better herself (same here for me, at least I use my Dior lid shades in anthracite / grey and not that cheap stuff) - meaning better than so called professional make up artists. She also said that Guido was doing more like work bench fotos than really trying to find out the best of your face. So my advice is to better invest the money into professional make up and go to a small photo studio.

Been to the studio yesterday in need of Visa images. Had no idea who Guido was - LOL. Now I know that they usually are not the passphoto people - but they helped me out. Awesome images!
