Our room was clean and had plenty of space and outlets. It was a short walk to the train and many of the famous landmarks. I would stay there again. The train runs close so they provide earplugs. I only needed them the first night and then was used to it. The croissant and coffee for 5 euros was a deal—but we didn’t understand you had to order it day before.

I stayed in a single room. It was a great room. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. It was great to have my own bathroom. The hotel itself was also very well designed. If you are interested in interior design like me, this hotel offers a great experience. It was also very close to the city's important points. Yes, a train passes by, but that didn't bother me at all. Earplugs were provided for those who might be bothered. In short, it was great. I would stay again. Best wishes from a Turk living in Italy.

I read a lot of comments before booking a room at this Arthotel. I was also worried about the noise, and indeed it was noisy. There is no way that you will get a quiet room, because its right next to the railway( no, it does not matter if your room is the right or left side of the building, you will hear the noise, its too close to the trains). Even with closed windows, you can hear the noise and in some cases even feel the vibration.
At night there are fewer trains, so if you plan to have a normal sleeping schedule ( 11 PM - 6 AM) there will be fewer trains ( only 10-15 per hour). They give you earplugs, and they work fine. If you are not very very sensitive for any noise while sleeping, give this place a chance. I slept like a baby, and I am not the “best” sleeper. 🙂
Beside this, everything is as described, good location, the shared bathroom was always clean and empty, you don’t have to worry about it.
Location is excellent, it right next to the Bundestag, but you will have to walk 12-10 minutes for a public transport station.
There is an elevator!

I had a great experience staying at this hotel! It’s located right next to the railway station, which makes it incredibly convenient for travel and exploring the city. If you're sensitive to noise, the trains might be an issue — but personally, I had no problem with it.
What really makes this place special is its unique character. The central chill zone is absolutely beautiful, filled with greenery and cozy seating — the perfect place to relax after a day out. The whole hotel has an artistic, creative vibe — a bit chaotic in the best way, but warm and welcoming.
It’s not your typical hotel — it’s more of an art hotel with personality. For me, it was insanely good and I’d definitely stay again.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights and was placed on the top floor facing both the railway and south facing towards the street. The heat and noise were brutal. The trains are VERY loud - even with the windows closed and earplugs (provided) used. If you close the windows (you have to for the noise), the room was over 30C by early am (on a day when it was maybe 22C outside). While the general location is good, the rooms are cute and clean, and the staff were polite (but couldn't move me), at over 200 euros per night, and no in suite washroom, this is not somewhere I'd recommend unless you enjoy a sleepless sauna.

The room was quite sparse with few home comforts but clean, warm and tidy. As it was mainly just somewhere to sleep and charge my phone it was more than enough. The stairs were a bit of a killer after a long day on your feet though. Location was really convinient for some of the bigger tourist locations

I literally can't wait to stay there again one day, hopefully soon. 🙂

The staff were amazing, very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. There are lockers right by the front desk so if you're early (like I was) you can check in your luggage and roam around the city as you wait. It's near the train tracks, but honestly those kind of city noises put me to sleep, so I had no issues, but they do give you ear plugs in case it might be an issue for you, and they are very upfront about their location in their communications, so that was much appreciated.

I was in a room very close to the train line. To be honest I did not find it as loud as some other reviewers claim. The windows had double glass and they do provide ear plugs for sensitive sleepers.

The room itself was quirky and fun. A little warm at times but opening a window let a lovely summer breeze in. I loved that it was different to the norm. If you are looking for five star luxury this place is not for you - but if you want a unique experince then I strongly recommend . The cabaret room was super weird and I loved it!

Location was fantastic. Great home base to explore Berlin via walking and public transport. Walking distance from Friedrichstraße - although its a shit to lug suitcases along the stairs and streets. After doing the hard yards by train on arrival I elected to take a Wolt back to the airport 😀

Service was decent. They helped me carry my stupidly heavy suitcase up a lot of stairs which was very much appreciated. The only real gripe was that they did not replenish my bathroom products and I was running quite low on bodywash after 4 days.

All in all I would certainly stay here again.
