Sofiya is an exceptional teacher and coach. She has unique style and a great approach to break down complex techniques to make them more accessible. Sofiya has created an open and safe space to support her students get comfortable with improvisation and she continuously inspires everyone to enjoy it. I would like to recommend Sofiya's classes to others. I have been enthusiastically attending her regular classes for a few weeks now. I just love her nature. Her way of teaching, her way of dealing with people. She has an incredible knowledge and can break it down and convey it wonderfully. She has the gift of explaining visually in a very clear way, for example showing the anatomy of the body through bones or offering pictorial imaginations. This understanding helps me tremendously to develop as a dancer. I have been belly dancing myself for some time and I also teach belly dancing. It is so nice to get back into the role of the student with her, to relax and enjoy the lessons. With her classes I have the opportunity to discover new facets of this dance. But don't worry with her teaching she manages to bring all levels along in a wonderful way. A friend of mine who is a beginner goes enthusiastically to her classes. You have the opportunity to ask anything and can benefit incredibly from her tips on how to improve your movement. I really want to recommend Sofiya wholeheartedly. She has such a warm, human and uplifting kind of teaching and being. It is simply a blessing to the heart. She is such a beautiful and inspiring woman.
